THON is right around the corner and there are many fundraisers that can help with the final push to THON.  We know that many of you are gearing up to dance or preparing for the weekend, but take some time out of your busy schedules and donate to THON through these great fundraisers!

February 6:

Ten Thousand Villages Valentine’s Sale

• This sale is being put on by Springfield
• “Looking for a gift for that special someone for Valentine’s day? Look no further than Ten Thousand Villages! From soaps to jewelry to delicious chocolate treats we have it all! Ten Thousand Villages is a fair trade organization. 15% of the proceeds will also benefit THON! So come support two great causes Monday February 6th, Wednesday February 8th and Thursday February 9th on the first floor of the HUB!”
• The sale is taking place from Monday, February 6 to Thursday, February 9 at the HUB Info Tables in the HUB-Robeson Center on Penn States University Park Campus

Mail Call Event

• This event is being put on by Triology
• “We will be creating small care packages for dancers that anyone can be. There will be some candy and toys to help the dancer get through the weekend along with a card inside.”
• This event is taking place from Monday, February 6 to Friday, February 10 in the HUB-Robeson center on Penn States University Park Campus

Spreading Love Through The HUB

• This sale is being put on by the NAACP
• “Spreading Love Through the HUB: Candy Gram Sale” NAACP will be selling candy-grams in the HUB
• This sale is taking place from Monday, February 6 to Friday, February 10 in the HUB-Robeson Center on Penn States University Park Campus

February 7:

Pierogi Dinner

• This dinner is being put on by H.E.A.L. (Help Every Angel Live)
• “Pierogie Dinner benefiting THON. All you can eat pierogies from 6-8 at Theta Chi fraternity. Salad and drinks will be provided. Cost is $5 and all proceeds go to THON.”
• This sale is taking place at Theta Chi Fraternity House in downtown State College

February 8:

Bradley’s Steaks and Hoagies FTK!

• This fundraiser is being put on by Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity
• “Bradley’s Steaks and Hoagies will be having a Steaks FTK night from 5-8 on Wednesday, February 8th, 2012. A percentage of proceeds during these hours will go towards THON! Join us for dinner while helping raise money for the kids!”

February 9:

Bake Sale

• This sale is being put on by Alpha Sigma Alpha
• “Bake sale outside of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity house from 10pm-12am”
• This sale is taking place at Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity house which is located on the corner of South Garner Street and Fairmount Avenue in downtown State College, PA

February 11:

Chicago For The Kids

• This event is being put on by DMAIG (Dance Marathon Alumni Interest Group)
• “Publicity, Advice, Any Donations for the Auction”
• This event is taking place at Cubby Bear in Chicago, IL

A lot of these events are taking place right in the HUB and many of the are downtown, so find some time to get some food or send someone dancer mail or a candy gram!  All the money goes to THON andWE DANCE IN 11!
