This week, there are a lot of different fundraisers occurring, so mark these on your calendar!  Firstly, the last promotion that is being put on by the Hospitality Captains is happening on Wednesday, Feburary 1.  Head down to Philly Pretzel from 3pm-9pm where 25% of all profits are going to benefit THON!  Again, this is the last fundraiser that is being put on by Hospitality, so you really don’t want to miss out on getting Philly Pretzels FTK!

There are a lot of other Alternative Fundraisers that will be taking place this upcoming week.

Tuesday, January 31:

Just Dance FTK!

• This event is being put on by Schreyer Honors College Student Council
• “Stressful day of classes? No worries! Stop by the tables on the ground floor of the HUB between 11am-1pm on Tuesday, January 31st to play “Just Dance” FTK! For just $2 you could get the chance to win some awesome prizes and show off your dance moves.”
• The event is taking place at the HUB-Robeson Center on Penn States University Park Campus from 11am-1pm

State Shades FTK!

• This event is put together from State Shades.
• “State Shades is a local State College business that was created for every passionate Penn Stater!”
• They are selling “Go State! Beat Cancer!” sunglasses in 10 different colors for $10, with $2 from every sale donated to THON.  You can buy your shades online at www.stateshades.com.Buy them anytime from now until THON 2012!

Wednesday, February 1:

Mr. Charles Benefitting THON

• This event is being put on by Trilogy
  
• “Mr. Charles is a women’s clothing store located right downtown. On February 1, the store will donate a portion of the proceeds from their sales to Trilogy for THON 2012.”
• The event is taking place at the Mr. Charles shop which is located on College Avenue in downtown State College

Hershey Park Ticket Sales

• This sale is being put on by Ohana
• “Hershey Park has teamed up with Ohana to offer discounted Hershey Park tickets for the summer season. The order form can be found at ohanaftk.org. The regular tickets are $30.75 (45% off regular price) and junior/senior tickets are $26.50 (25% off). All proceeds go to THON.”
• You will be able to buy these tickets from Tuesday, February 1- Thursday, February 16. You can buy them at Ohanas meetings in 119 Osmond, at the HUB tables, and online at ohanaftk.org

Tuesday, February 2:

Pie Your RA

• This event is being put on by FutuRES
• Come out and pie your RA in support of THON!
• This event is taking place at Redifer Commons on Penn States University Park Campus

Chilis Fundraiser

• This event is being put on by Tri-State
• Look for members of Tri-State handing out flyers for Chilis, mainly in the HUB, and bring those flyers with you when you go and get your meal!
• This event will be taking place at Chilis in downtown State College

Friday, February 3:

Late Night Bake Sale FTK

• This sale is being put on by the Student Red Cross Club
• “The Student Red Cross Club will be holding a Late Night Bake Sale FTK on Friday February 3rd from 6pm to 2am! Come out to enjoy delicious homemade desserts, everything from brownies and cookies to chocolate covered pretzels and hot chocolate! All FTK!!”
• The sale is taking place at the Red Cross Center County Chapter Office in downtown State College

Whether you come out to Philly Pretzel FTK from 3pm-9pm on Wednesday, February 1 for the last Hospitality Promotion of the year or any of these other great events, all of the money that is raised is going to THON!  Keep pushing to help THON get more money, FTK!  We dance in 19!
