Canning Weekends are very important fundraising weekends, and unfortunately the third canning weekend of the year was canceled due to inclement weather. However, all the amazing volunteers of THON have come up with a new and great way to can for the weekend: CyberCanning.  On twitter, people have been pledging to donate money to THON by using the hastag #cybercanning.  A sample tweet that you could use would be 

        “I’m pledging to donate $20 to @THON. #cybercanning.”

#cybercanning is an innovative way to help spread awareness of THON!  Another great way to get donations is through THONline fundraising!  Whether you are a part of an Organization, a Committee, an Independent Dancer, or just looking to help out, you can send out virtual solicitations for donations to friends and family.
