There are many different THON events this week that will benefit THON in various different ways! Whether you are trying to dance, send mail to your friends who are dancing, or help THON’s final total go up, there is something for you to do this week!

Tuesday, January 17:

THON Bowling:

Northland Bowling is hosting Cosmic Bowling benefitting THON from 8:30 pm to 12 am.  The cost is $3.50 a game and and a portion of the proceeds go to THON.  Northland Bowling is located at 1521 Martin Street, State College, PA 16803.

THON Blood Drive

The blood drive will be place from January 17- January 19 in Alumni Hall in the HUB.  Give blood and all presenting donors will receive a $4 donation to the THON Organization of their choice. 

Independent Dancer Diamond Pursuit:

This

Mail Collection Begins

January 17 is the first day to begin turning in Dancer Mail for anyone you know (or don’t know!) who will be dancing in THON.  You can drop off letters in 324 HUB and any packages in 327 HUB.  Mail will be collected until February 9.

Wednesday, January 18:

Cold Stone Scoops FTK

Head down to the Cold Stone in downtown State College and get a delicious ice cream treat and support THON!  The event is taking place from 5 pm to 10 pm and 30% of all the proceeds will be going directly to THON.  Get a big group of friends together and help THON!

Merchandise Sale

Go to the HUB First Floor between 10 am and 3 pm to get the latest merchandise to wear THON Weekend!

Jersey Mikes Promotion

Jersey Mikes is a new sub shop that has opened up in downtown State College on South Allen Street between College and Beaver Avenue.  From January 18-22, if you go in an make a donation to the Four Diamonds Fund, you will be able to get a sub for $1.  All the proceeds from this will be doing directly to the Four Diamonds Fund.

Thursday, January 19:

THON Band Bash

Come to THON Band Bash in The HUB from 7pm-10pm and preview the acts that may be performing at THON!  The acts that will be playing will be:

1. Fred Smoothe and the Midnight Social
2. The Matt Cermanski Band
3. Dave Joyce and the Long Barrels
4. Chromatic Wakeup
5. Hubris

Friday, January 20:

“Like Drive” for 6 ABC

For every new person who “likes” 6abc’s Facebook page on Friday, Jan. 20th (midnight to midnight), 6abc will donate to THON! Feel free to comment on their posts about THON, but in order to gain the donation, be sure to “like” their page first! Remember money only goes to THON for “likes” on Friday not before or after!
