There are a variety of different sales and events that are happening this week to benefit THON.  You can get some quick holiday gifts, watch some talented people, and even try your hand at skating.  Take some time out from studying to give these things a look!

December 5:

Springfield Pillow Sale Benefitting THON

• This sale is being put on by Springfield
• “Buy handcrafted Penn State pillows from the Springfield website at http://www.springfieldftk.com/merch.shtml.  The pillows are made from recycled t-shirts bought at Trash to Treasure. All t-shirts were pre-washed before sewing. Pillow covers are removable from the pillow form for easy washing.  Custom made pillows are also available if you’d prefer to have one created with your own t-shirt!  The website will be up until the items sell out!”
• This sale will be taking place from December 5 until whenever the pillows sell out, so make sure that you buy yours from the above listed website because they will be going fast

Be A Stunner, Buy A Shutter!

• This sale is being put on by Katie Hissick and Susan Martens
• “Be a Stunner and Buy a Shutter! All purchases help Katie Hissick and Susan Martens raise money towards their Independent Dancer total and of course all proceeds benefit THON! These bright and colorful glasses read 2012 across the front, Make sure you order yours today!”
• The sale will be taking place from Monday, December 5-Friday, December 9.  Contact Katie Hissick to buy yours today!

H.E.A.L. Candygram Sale

• This sale is being put on by H.E.A.L. (Help Every Angel Live)
• “H.E.A.L. will be having a candy gram sale, delivering candy canes with messages to others at a later date.”
• The sale will be taking place from Monday, December 5-Tuesday, December 6 in the HUB at Penn State’s University Park Campus

December 6:

PSMA Variety Show FTK

• The show is being put on by the Penn State Marketing Association
• “Come out and see PSU’s most talented people in the PSMA Variety Show FTK! December 6th, 2011 at 8pm in the HUB Auditorium. Make sure to bring your spare change to vote for your favorite act!”
• The show will be taking place on Tuesday, December 6 in the HUB Auditorium on Penn States University Park Campus

December 8:

Selling Harry Potter Food For THON

• This sale is being put on by the Three Broomsticks
• “The Three Broomsticks, Harry Potter, Organization will be selling Harry Potter themed foods and crafts in the HUB to benefit THON.”
• The sale will be taking place from Thursday, December 8-Saturday, December 10 in the HUB on Penn States University Park Campus

December 9:

Winter Wonderland Skate

• This event is being put on by the Penn State Figure Skating Club
• “Come get in the holiday spirit by joining the Penn State Figure Skating club in a Winter Wonderland. There will be basic instruction, mini performances and more! We welcome every level of skill and will help you get started if you’ve never skated before. Tickets are $5 and $2 for rental skates.”
• The event will be taking place on Friday, December 9 from 9:30-11:30 am and it is located at the Penn State Ice Rink in State College, PA. The entrance fee is $3 and skate rental is $2.
