Thanksgiving is the time when we give thanks to those that have helped us brighten our journeys throughout the year. We asked why you were thankful for THON and we want to let you know what we’re thankful for.

You find out who you are and what you stand for when you are out in the freezing cold collecting nickels and dimes. You find out who you are when you don’t get the privilege of dancing but volunteer on a committee to be a part of it. If you do get to dance, you find out how much pain you can take, without complaining, for a greater purpose. I am thankful for THON because it shows us what ‘We Are’ really about”

We look to you for guidance and we thank you for being pillars of our community, and you are, so we thank you.

Thank you for keeping THON running the way it is supposed to. Your weekly meetings throughout the year culminate with an unforgettable weekend which you play such an integral role in. Thank you for refusing to give up THON Weekend. You will all be standing together, ensuring that no one that THON touches will ever have to stand alone. You sacrifice your bodies, willingly, for this fantastic cause. Your selflessness THON weekend is astounding and we thank you for your effort.

Thank you for being our heroes. You go through so much and yet you are still able to smile. Seeing you happy and enjoying your life, even if it is for a short period of time that we are together, is absolutely unforgettable.
