THON is something that is so hard to explain to someone who has never participated in or attended THON.  There are so many different emotions and moments that make up an entire THON experience that it is hard to capture all of them.  You’ll have an opportunity to bring all of those people into a part of your experience through the B1G Ten Networks series LiveBIG.  LiveBIG follows people making a difference on their campus and in their community.  At THON 2011, they followed around three dancers- Ian, Alex, and Savannah- through their weekend. 

The special is premiering on the Big Ten Network after the Penn State Basketball game at 11:30pm EST on Monday November 21.  The Dance Marathon Alumni Interest Group (DMAIG) is holding viewing parties in Baltimore and in New York, so you should consider holding one of your own!  Gather up your friends and family and show them what THON is really about for those who participate in it.  For more information, check out the show’s website.  Let us know if you have a viewing party and what you think of the program.  And remember to LiveBIG everyday!
