The Mr. And Mrs. THON Pageant is TOMORROW! For those of you that have never heard of the Mr. And Mrs. THON Pageant, it is an event where a male and female captain from each committee compete to see who will be crowned Mr. And Mrs. THON for the year. Last year, Family Relations won, but to see who will be crowned this year, make sure you’re at the Eisenhower Auditorium tomorrow, Wednesday, November 16 at 7:30 pm with your tickets. You can purchase tickets for $4 in the HUB, Eisenhower Auditorium, and at the Downtown Ticket Office. To get you ready for tomorrow night, we have an exclusive look at the different contestants. Justin Petrozzini
Justin, a junior Kinesiology major, would give anything to be Mila Kunis’ bar of soap for just one day. Ladies, his ideal date is chinese takeout and NFL Football on a Sunday, preferably with a Giants fan. But, if you go to the deli, make sure they cut all the way through the bread, it’s one of his biggest pet peeves.
Emily Botto
A senior majoring in Biology, Emily loves James Franco and Mashed Potatoes. If she had to be any member of the Overall Committee, she’d be Kinjal, because he has sweet dance moves and silky smooth hair.

Marta, a Public Relations and Psychology double majoring senior, loves Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Ryan Gosling, but only if he isn’t wearing a shirt. Her favorite movie is Breakfast at Tiffany’s and if she could be any fictional character she would be Holly Golightly because she’s classy and just a little bit wild.

Pete, a sophomore RPTM major, loves to watch Desperate Housewives: it’s his guilty pleasure. But, if he’s not watching that, you can find him catching a Flyers game. Just don’t lick your fingers after eating Cheeto’s in front of him…GROSS.
Carlye Lauff
This junior Mechanical Engineering major has high expectations for a night out; ” I’d want to compare multivariable calculus notes while building a telescope to gaze at the meteor shower after an evening of rollerblading across campus.” But, she concedes that since this may be hard to find, she would go with a home cooked meal and a movie. Try giving her some hummus and watching She’s The Man with her.

This senior, a Political Science major, loves the Philadelphia Phillies and a good steak. He also believes that he may be soulmates with Mairead Hanna because they both love hot dogs.

Julie, a senior in Mechanical and Bioengineering, would definitely be Hermione Granger if she could be any fictional character because she’s “the brains of that operation”. Since it’s pretty cold in Canada, she would be a resident of Canada’s bar of soap. Or Prince Harry, either will do.

This Finance and Economics senior knows the trick to surviving on a desert island; his best friend, a fully equipped boat, and Bear Grylls. His favorite TV guilty pleasure is Teen Mom, and his favorite movie is Cinderella Man.
Chelsea Snell
This is a senior in Kinesiology who really knows how to booty-pop. She loves the soccer team Chelsea F.C. and would love to be David Beckham’s bar of soap. Even though she leads and active lifestyle, she would totally be Cinderella if she got to be any fictional character.

Tom Shelley
A senior majoring in Bio-Genetics, Tom has seen Jurassic Park over 45 times and is well versed in raptor attacks. So, if he were ever attacked by one in Home Depot, he would clip its toenails to render them useless with a hedge clipper. Aside from his love of Jurassic Park, he also has a thing for Posh Spice, and sushi.

Karlen, a Nutrition major and a junior, is putting a challenge out to the men of Penn State to top her last date; ” Well the last guys picked me up in his private jet, we landed in the Bahamas, spent the day jet skiing and sailing, then we teleported to France where the mouse in Ratatouille made us an amazing French dinner. He then gave me a sports car as a gift… Soooo whoever can top that, that’s my dream date!” So, if you think you can top that, and you don’t pick your toenails and sing like Chris Brown, then you may be the guy for her.

This Biobehavioral Health senior would love to dance the Macarana. After that, a nice viewing of Law and Order: SVU would be in order, but if you’re planning on getting a wrap with Mitch, make sure it’s well constructed.

Liz, a Telecommunications senior, has the raptor in Home Depot problem all figured out; ” A ladder, because raptors can’t climb ladders! They have teeny tiny arms!” After the busy work of fighting off raptors, feel free to take her out to a nice Panda Express dinner by the fishtanks with some nice Salted Caramel Frapps from Starbucks.

Leigh, a Community, Environment and Development major and a junior really likes low key dates; “ My dream date would be to be picked up in a 1967 Corvette by a man in a powder blue tux, holding 12 of the rarest flowers in the world. I would like him to bring me on a quick trip to a private Italian dinner….in Italy, followed by dancing in Spain and back early enough to catch Modern Family. Anything low key like that would do.” She’s just an easy to please girl who’s favorite color is green.

This junior Chemical Engineering major really loves to watch the Pakistan National Cricket team, but will settle for the Steelers. Her favorite dance is the pelvic thrust, a la Spongebob Squarepants, and really supports redheads like Ginger Spice.
