TGIFridays Dinner Night

• This sale is being put on by Dickinson Benefiting THON
• “We will be having two nights at TGIFridays and the restaurant will be donated a portion of all the funds raised on dinner orders that state they are there with our group.”
• This is taking place from November 14-15, 2011 and is at the TGIFridays on North Atherton in State College, PA

November 16, 2011

A Taste of the Caribbean

• This sale is being put on by the Caribbean Student Association
• “A taste of caribbean, food like curry chicken, oxtail and fried chicken caribbean style will be cooked and sold at a reasonable price.”
• This is taking place from November 16-November 18, 2011 and it will be taking place at 222 Meridan in Downtown State College.

The Rob DelFranco Bonfire Benefiting THON

• This bonfire is being put on by the brothers of Beta Theta Pi
• ” Last Thursday, one of our brothers was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. His name is Rob DelFranco, he is a freshman and a brother of Beta Theta Pi. In less than a week, he went from perfectly fine to being admitted to Hershey’s Medical Center with a life altering diagnosis. Luckily Rob is now a beneficiary of the Four Diamonds Fund, and to aid his cause, we are having a dinner and bonfire in his name. The dinner and bonfire will take place on Wednesday the 16th of November at 220 North Burrowes Street, at Beta Theta Pi. There will be a minimum of $5 donation; those attending will get a meal and beverages. There will be a bonfire and live music. Also a $1 raffle will be held and a hair shaving auction, which will be hosted by members of Beta Theta Pi but is open to anyone who wants to serve the cause. The bonfire and dinner will be in honor of Rob DelFranco, and all proceeds will go directly to the THON through an anonymous donation. Everyone is invited, so please come out, enjoy a warm meal and help our brother and the cause.”

Chik-fil-A Fundraiser Benefiting THON

• This sale is being put on by RUF Benefiting THON
• On Nov. 16 from 6:30AM-10:00PM, Chick-fil-A will be donating 15% of all proceeds to THON when our flyer is presented (will be found on the facebook event). There will also be a prize wheel from 5-8PM that costs $1 per spin, and all proceeds from that go to THON.”
• This is taking place at Chik-fil-A on North Atherton in State College, PA

Cents of Hope - Running FTK

• This fundraiser is being put on by Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity
• “This Sunday, Steve Huber will be running the Philadelphia Half Marathon as part of an alternative fundraising event called Cents of Hope.  Starting the race LAST, Steve will pass as many runners as he can before the finish.  From now until Sunday, he will be accepting sponsors who are willing to pledge $0.01 for every runner he passes during the race.  If he achieves his goal of passing 5,000 runners, a typical donation would be $50, benefiting Alpha Kappa Psi THON.”
