Throughout the month of October, THON Committees participated in Committee Orientations.  From the big, like Morale and OPP, to the small, like Public Relations and Hospitality, Committees and their Captains participated in fun activities and got to know each other. 

Orientations are designed to get all these student volunteers excited for the upcoming THON season through things like videos, family speakers, and visits from the Overall Committee.  The Committee members get to see their captains in a new light through silly dances, skits, and other performances, and they get to showcase their own creativity through things like newspaper fashion shows, funny skits, and committee cheers. 

With over 15,000 students who volunteer to help make THON run smoothly,  Committee Orientations are a great way to make such a huge student-run organization seem a lot smaller.  To all those who attended Committee Orientations, we hope you had a great time and enjoyed all the hard work that your captains put into planning these events.  If you have any other pictures from Committee Orientations or even some funny stories, please don’t hesitate to send them to us!
